Sales training seminars have been recently organized by young promotion in Barcelona and Madrid for promotional teams. The main focus of these whole day seminars was to introduce the most efficient sales techniques and how to implement them on a daily basis to create the most memorable shopping experience for each customer. In celebration of Mother’s Day, Blackjack Promotions collaborated with Contentainment at World Duty Free offering a complimentary Nail Art treatments in store.Passengers across Heathrow and Birmingham stores thoroughly enjoyed this event which also included the chance to have some fun with Mother’s day selfie props which drove further engagement and brought a fun feeling to the shop floor. Much fantastic feedback was received for the treatments with many passengers commenting that this service was the perfect start to their travels! Our Nail Artists worked non-stop throughout the day making all mothers, daughters and females feel special! Our CTT team members added an extra touch with sampling fragrances on pink roses for passengers in Terminal 5.

The promotion took place in Regstaer at Vnukovo airport. Worldwide famous Beluga products - Transatlantic Racing, Allure, Gold Line – took its rightful place in the center of the store. Customers had a chance to learn how to mix their favourite cocktails in the comfort of the own home. Promoters revealed preparation secrets of the distinguished Beluga cocktails.

Training has commenced with Blackjack Promotions very own Wine Academy. This is a new innovation for 2016 with an aim to boost sales and service in response to the growing wine category within World Duty Free Stores. This has initially been rolled out at Birmingham, Stansted, Gatwick and Heathrow airports with a view to expand and hold more training sessions soon.
Tim Syrad, Master of wines, hosted the full day training session which was tailored to wines available within WDF stores. This included wine tasting and food pairing plus top tips and recommendations. Some of the more unusual lessons of the day included pairing cheese with white wine! Staff went back to basics and looked at a whole range of wines to discuss with customers, from inexpensive to high end ranges.
